The Taliban says it is prepared to try Osama bin Laden if the United States provides evidence against him.
The Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan said today that his country's ruling movement would try Mr bin Laden if the US provided solid evidence of the militant's involvement in the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.
Ambassador Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef also said that the Taliban would be willing to talk about allowing Mr bin Laden to be tried in another country if evidence against him was provided.
