Suspected gas explosion kills family of four in Scotland

A family of four was killed today after a suspected gas explosion tore apart a bungalow in Scotland. Emergency services at the blast scene in Larkhall in Lanarkshire, south east of Glasgow, located the bodies of two young children and a woman, thought to be their mother. Police and firefighters searching the rubble for the fourth occupant have been forced to leave the site amid fears of a gas explosion. The blast wrecked the house and neighbouring houses were also damaged by the explosion, which occurred at about half past five this morning.
