This is a great recipe for getting the kids to tuck into hummus; it is so rich in key nutrients – the perfect thing to have in their tummies before all of the sweets!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of pre-soaked chickpeas 
  • 2 cloves of garlic 
  • 1 cup tahini 
  • ½ cup water 
  • 1 tsp paprika 
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Veggies to serve

Method

  1. Add all of the ingredients to your food processor except the water.
  2. Blitz on high until creamy, adding some water if necessary.
  3. Serve and enjoy – we tried out a fun new way of serving it coming out of our carved watermelon to entice the younger ones to give it a go!
