This is a great recipe for getting the kids to tuck into hummus; it is so rich in key nutrients – the perfect thing to have in their tummies before all of the sweets!
- 2 cans of pre-soaked chickpeas
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 cup tahini
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Veggies to serve
- Add all of the ingredients to your food processor except the water.
- Blitz on high until creamy, adding some water if necessary.
- Serve and enjoy – we tried out a fun new way of serving it coming out of our carved watermelon to entice the younger ones to give it a go!
