A new exhibition opens in Dublin and puts the old city Viking wall on display for public viewing for the first time.
A Viking wall dating back to eleven hundred AD has been unveiled in Dublin. Located under the City Council's Civic Offices in Wood Quay the Hiberno wall is now part of a new conference centre which has been launched alongside the opening of a new exhibition in the building called 'My City'.
Ailbhe Conneely reports from Dublin's civic offices on a new exhibition where history meets technology.
Breffni O'Malley Design Developer at My City Exhibition describes the exhibition as a new place to find out what is happening in Dublin. Ailbhe Conneely also talks to Ruth Johnson, Archaeologist with Dublin City Council, and Charles Duggan, Heritage Officer with Dublin City Council, about the exhibition and the importance of allowing the public to see the Viking wall.
