Irish embassy officials in Moscow are investigating the arrest by Soviet authorities of two Irish Greenpeace volunteers today. The two women were arrested when the ‘MV Greenpeace’ was seized by Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) coastguards. A third woman is still missing after landing on the island of Novaya Zemlya. All three women, Susie Forman, Sally O’Keeffe and Jean O’Gorman, were involved in August in the boarding of a Japanese ship trying to offload a cargo of spent nuclear fuel at Sellafield.

Report shows ‘MV Greenpeace’.
