A week after the ending of the rod licence row, the tourist trade in the west of Ireland says it is delighted with the success of the campaign to woo back overseas anglers. This afternoon the Boatmen's Federation urged fishermen returning to the lakes in boats that may have been out of action for two years, to be extremely careful.
