An appeal has been launched for funding to restore the Howth Tram.

Report shows a collection of commercial transport vehicles in a converted farm shed in the grounds of Howth Castle, Dublin.

the collection consists of the world’s oldest tram, Second World War lorries, a horse-drawn sludge lorry, and a fire tender; an Albion two-and-a-half tonne lorry, which was used in the film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’; at present, the museum owns one hundred and fourteen vehicles and adds five to its collection each year;
