The biggest offshore firefighting exercise ever staged in Irish waters was organised yesterday on board the Sealink ferry, the Saint Columba. British and Irish emergency services including the Air Corps, the Naval Service, the Royal Air Force (RAF) and both Irish and Welsh fire fighters, took part.
