The Roman Catholic Primate, Cardinal Basil Hume, has asked the Home Secretary, Douglas Hurd, to refer the case of Mrs. Annie Maguire and others jailed in 1976 on explosives charges to the court of appeal.
He also wants a review of the Guildford pub bombings case in 1974.
