Twenty thousand teachers on one day strike protest in Croke Park over pay.
The rally was addressed by Róisín Carbine President of the National Teachers' Organisation (INTO) and Sean McCarthy President of the Teachers Union of Ireland (TUI), and Louis O'Flaherty President Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland (ASTI).
After a march to the city centre the protesters were addressed by Donal Nevin General Secretary of the Congress of Trade Unions.
