Demonstrators march to the American embassy in Dublin to protest against the war in Vietnam.
Despite heavy rain, members of the anti-Vietnam war organisation the Irish Voice on Vietnam march from Dublin city centre to the Embassy of the United States (US) of America in Ballsbridge.
A letter for the US Ambassador, signed by Irish Voice on Vietnam chairperson Dan Breen and vice-chairperson Peadar O'Donnell, is handed in. The letter calls for the ending of the bombing in Vietnam and for negotiations with the National Liberation Front (NLF) of South Vietnam.
The marchers carry posters 'Progressive Women Support the NLF' ‘Stop World War 3 Now’.
