Republic of Ireland supporters head to Wembley Stadium for the European Championship qualifier against England.

While some Republic of Ireland supporters are travelling to London hoping for a win, others will be happy with a draw. Most of those travelling managed to get tickets at face value. Two housewives from Tallaght are among the green army at Dublin Airport and have left their husbands at home, minding the children.

It was a busy Dublin Airport today as the last of the fans headed off to London to support their heroes.

For those football fans staying in Dublin, four giant screens have been erected at the RDS Simmonscourt where six thousand are expected to watch the game at a sold out Football Spectacular.
