The Mothers' Union has been promoting family and Christian life for one hundred years in Ireland.

An exhibition at Christ Church Cathedral marks The Mothers' Union devotion to Christian family life.

The Mothers' Union is concerned with many aspects of family life and its main aim is to promote Christian marriage, homes and families.

The exhibition traces the 100 year history from the time of the foundation of The Mothers' Union in England by Mary Sumner in 1876 to becomin a worldwide organisation with over 400,000 members.

The first Irish branch of the Mothers' Union was established in Raheny in 1887.
