Italian actress Luciana Paluzzi plays SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, Extortion) assassin Fiona Volpe in the fourth James Bond film 'Thunderball'.
In Ireland for a gala premiere at the Savoy cinema, Luciana Paluzzi is met at Dublin Airport by 'Thunderball' producer Kevin McClory.
The 'Thunderball' screening will take place on 10 February 1966 in aid of the Variety Club of Ireland in association with the Homes of the Jubilee Nurses and the Little Sisters of the Poor. Along with Luciana Paluzzi and Kevin McClory stars of the film, Molly Peters, who plays physiotherapist Patricia Fearing; Bernard Lee, who portrays 'M', head of MI6; and Desmond Llewelyn as 'Q', the MI6 quartermaster.
