After hearing how some people believe an omlette is made Mary Fitzgerald gets some professional advice.
Members of the public at the Spring Show in the RDS offer their own recipes and techniques for making an omelette. Although some people are not sure, all agree that eggs are involved.
Chef Ger Daly provides the simple recipe and instructions for making the perfect omelette. Fresh eggs, water, oil or butter are all that is required. A filling of choice can be added. The egg mixture is added to a pan until set, folded and served. After hearing the chef's instructions, Mary Fitzgerald tries her hand at making the perfect omelette, while fellow presenter Aonghus McAnally describes it as,
One of the nicest omelettes I've ever had the pleasure to eat.
