Three Irish actors training with Marcel Marceau in Paris bring their debut show to the Peacock Theatre.

Johnny Lambert, Conal Kearney and Vincent O'Neill are among an elite group of students who have been studying at Marcel Marceau’s school of mime for the last two years.

Now the three are bringing a mime show to Dublin. Vincent O’Neill explains that their play 'Silent Conflicts’ is a work dealing with universal, human themes.

All three have made many personal sacrifices to study in Paris. It has not been easy for them financially, but a recent Arts Council bursary will help the three actors finish their final year.

Their aim is to set up an Irish mime company which would bring the art form to the whole country. Vincent O’Neill believes audiences would be receptive, as there is a wealth of Irish subjects to be dealt with.
