Morning for one Church of Ireland minister is a combination of family routine and pastoral care.

A native of County Wexford, Reverend Cecil Bryan is the rector of three Church of Ireland parishes in north west Dublin – Castleknock, Clonsilla and Mulhuddart.

He has three children with his wife Primrose, and his weekdays start with the school run.

Unlike the other parents of children attending this small national school in Castleknock village, his pastoral duties begin when the school bell rings, and it is time for morning prayers and assembly.

Reverend Cecil Bryan also teaches religious instruction to the senior classes once a week which he describes as a great privilege.
