The rain in Dublin does not dampen the spirit of those taking part in the women's mini-marathon.
Rain ponchos, black bin bags and anoraks are the order of the day as 37,000 participants are in Dublin for the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon.

It's sport, but it's also fundraising for charity.
Participants walk, jog and run to raise millions for around 800 charities, including the Irish Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House and SHOUT Cancer Care. The group 'Walk with Eileen' comprised of Eileen Finn, Ita Gibney and friends, have raised over €50,000 for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
