Arkle leaves Dublin Airport for the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival.

Irish horses taking part in the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival depart from Dublin Airport. Among those heading to Cheltenham is Arkle, who is hotly tipped to win a second successive Gold Cup at Cheltenham on 11 March 1965.

Shortly after midday, Arkle is led to a horsebox on the runway to be flown out to the United Kingdom with seven other Irish horses.
