Large turnout to see former US President Bill Clinton in Dublin to sign copies of his book.

President Bill Clinton spent more than two hours signing copies of his autobiography 'My Life' at Eason's bookshop in Dublin.

Members of the public queued from early morning on O'Connell Street outside the bookshop in the hope of meeting the former US President. By the time Bill Clinton arrived, there were almost two thousand people waiting.

Once the most important politician in the world, Bill Clinton always makes sure he has time for Ireland.

Bill Clinton told RTÉ News he was hopeful about the peace process. The former president will be joined later by his wife Hilary Clinton to meet Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.
