The weather moved the inter county step dancing competition indoors in Clonbur.
Torrential rain drove the music and dance inside in Clonbur, County Galway for the set dancing competition.
Clonbur has a tradition of open-air féiseanna and step dancing competitions going back over a hundred years.
Last year saw a major revival in set dancing in Clonbur as part of the village festival programme.
Adjudicators in the competition, Niall McGlynn from Tuam and Seamus Duff from Kilkenny, described the standard of dancing this year as excellent and congratulated the organisers for reawakening an interest in set dancing especially among younger people.
The proceeds of the festival will be put towards the construction of a new Clonbur community centre for the village at the gateway to the north Connemara Gaeltacht.
