A small enterprise based in Offaly is manufacturing caravans using the skills of local workers.
At the factory in Ferbane local craftsmen perform all the tasks need for the production of the caravans. The end product has been highly praised by architects and engineers alike. The factory owners have been amazed by the skilled workers recruited in the Ferbane area.
They have described the area as a goldmine of untapped abilities and handcrafts.
Over twenty young men have now been trained as first class operatives at the factory.
One of the benefits of caravan living is that if you do not like your neighbours, you can always move.
Living in a caravan can be quite comfortable nowadays and nearly every modern convenience is installed.
Many of these caravans are being built in an attempt to fill temporary housing needs in Dublin.
