In Carlow, the Ballyhacket Steam Club shows how grain crops were once cut and threshed.
At Bough near Rathvilly, the Ballyhacket Steam committee staged a corn-cutting and steam threshing demonstration.
The event was part of a fundraising effort for local charities in Carlow that included an auction of livestock, furniture and farm produce which had all been donated.
The harvesting demonstration featured a 1910 mowing machine pulled by two horses; a 1920 Reaper and Binder drawn by a 1900 Titan Tractor; and a steam engine.
