Special Olympics teams are welcomed on their arrival at Dublin Airport.
The Flame of Hope the symbol for the Special Olympics continued its journey around Ireland. The flame was carried by the Garda Sub Aqua Team from Saint John's Point in Donegal to Mullaghmore in County Sligo.
Thousands of Special Olympics athletes have been arriving in Dublin Airport this week, in advance of the world games opening ceremony which will take place in a week’s time. Teams received a traditional Irish welcome in the arrivals hall.
