Members of the local commmunity take part in a Stations of the Cross ceremony in Dublin.
The Stations of the Cross ceremony began at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Seán McDermott Street.
Members of the community carried a wooden cross around the flat complexes and housing estates in the area.
In all, the procession visited 14 venues including Killarney Street, North Cicular Road, Summer Street and Buckingham Terrace.
Prayers were said at altars decorated by parishioners. Many participants carried small crosses with posters. The group known as Concerned Parents Against Drugs also toook part in the procession.

This is the fourth year that the community has celebrated Good Friday with an outdoor Stations of the Cross procession. The theme of this years' procession was peace and reconciliation between God and humanity.
