Students from Scoil Chaitríona in Coolock, Dublin give their views on a war in Iraq and if Ireland should assist the United States.
Pupils from Scoil Chaitríona in the north Dublin suburb of Coolock give their opinions on whether the United States should go to war with Iraq and should Ireland get involved.
The majority of students are worried that if the is a war a lot of civilians will be killed.
I don't think there should be war because lots of innocent people will get killed as a result.
A girl doubts there is a basis for war,
They haven't really got any proof that there is weapons.
This point of view is shared by her schoolmate,
I think they should find out whether Iraq have chemical weapons first, and then they should make their minds up.
One student thinks if there is a war Ireland should help the United States. However she fears such involvement could have repercussions for Ireland.
According to another student,
America I think just wants more power over the world and all, look at other wars turned out, it took years to repair the countries again.
