Oireachtas na Gaeilge is a celebration of Irish culture which was established in 1914. This is the first year that it has been held in Dingle, County Kerry.

The wide range of events are on offer include storytelling, singing and instrumental music competitions, a fashion show, a hurling blitz, an art exhibition, a cultural trip around west Kerry, book launches and a blessing of the local fishing fleet.

The official Oireachtas golf competition is also taking place, hosted by Dingle Golf Club at Ceann Sibéal in the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht.

For the last two years running in the month of September the club has organised a weekend golf tournament as Gaeilge, which is well attended,
