Children conduct a blind taste survey to see if it is possible to spot the difference between different brands of a cola drink.

Clíona Ní Bhuachalla a secondary school student from County Cavan sets out to prove  that her classmates cannot tell the difference between Coca-Cola, Pepsi Max, Pepsi and Dunnes Stores cola sold under the St Bernard brand.

With the help of friends Naomi Sorcha, Cormac and Aidan, Clíona Ní Bhuachalla sets up a blind taste test and and compiles the results in survey form. At break time, her classmates are more than willing to take part in the survey. They taste the different colas and state which one they are drinking. Many believe they are drinking the St Bernard brand cola when they are drinking Pepsi Max.

With the completion of the taste test, the four cola bottle labels are revealed. The statistics are analysed and confirm Clíona Ní Bhuachalla’s original assumption about her classmates’ powers of detection,
