Powerful Meath overcome favourites Tyrone to reach All Ireland Football Final.
The Ulster champions started brightly and when Peter Canavan kicked his first point after ten minutes Tyrone led by 0-04 to 0-01. Points from Trevor Giles, Barry Callaghan and Brendan Reilly brought Meath level. Two points from Tyrone put them ahead and even after Graham Geraghty's goal in the 27th minute, the sides were level at half time Meath 1-06 Tyrone 0-09.
Meath's strong second half included a run that saw them score six points without reply before a late Barry Callaghan goal confirmed the Leinster champions were on their way to an All Ireland final meeting with Mayo.
The final score was Meath 2-15 Tyrone 0-12
