Christy Ring shares some memories of growing up in Cloyne where he learned to play hurling.
Christy Ring is regarded as one of the greatest hurlers of all time. He made sixty five championship appearances for Cork winning eight All Ireland Senior Championships. He represented Munster for a record twenty three consecutive seasons, winning a eighteen Railway Cup medals. With Glen Rovers he won fourteen Cork Senior Hurling Championships .
