An independent candidate in the Local Elections for Cork City South Central has said that it has been difficult for the deaf community to access information in the election campaign.
Graham O'Shea, who is seeking to become Cork's first deaf councillor, said that things are "slowly improving".
In relation to information for the deaf community on the Lord Mayors plebiscite, Mr O'Shea said that it was not great.
However, said that services were not going to improve overnight.
