US President Donald Trump's golf course resort in Doonbeg, Co Clare generated an income of $13.5m (€11.46m) last year.

This is $1m lower than the $14.5m generated in 2018.

The figure was contained in Mr Trump's latest financial disclosure to the US Office of Government Ethics and states that the money came from "golf-related revenue".

The document also states that Trump Doonbeg is valued at between $25m and $50m.

Mr Trump bought the golf course in Co Clare in February 2014 for an estimated €15m and stayed at the resort in June 2019 during a visit to Ireland.

According to Mr Trump's latest financial disclosure, his business interests and royalties generated revenue of more than $446m last year, slightly up from 2018.
