A man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was airlifted from a boat off the coast of Waterford.
The Coast Guard helicopter based at Waterford airport was tasked with carrying out a medical evacuation after the man became very unwell.
The evacuation took place 150 miles south east of Waterford.
The man was brought to University Hospital Waterford where he is recovering.
