Four men charged in relation to post office robbery

Four men have appeared in court this evening charged in relation to an armed robbery at a post office in Cleaboy, Waterford, on Thursday.

Alan Wall (37), Michael Tynan (34) and Conor O'Connor (37), all of no fixed abode, and Barry Walsh (29), of Thornberry Square in Clonee, Dublin 15, appeared before a special sitting of Waterford District Court this evening.

Judge Kevin Staunton granted free legal aid to the men and they were all remanded in custody.

The men will be making bail applications before the court at their next appearance on Tuesday.
