A man being questioned at Enniscorthy Garda Station in relation to a drugs and gun components find in the Ballycarney area on Wednesday night has had his period of detention extended.
The 38-year-old man was arrested after the discovery of an estimated €5,000 worth of cannabis resin and sections of a gun.
The find was made as part of a garda search.
Gardaí now have an extra 24 hours to question the man about the find.
