We may be stuck in a Level 5 lockdown but that does not mean we can't be part of the ongoing discussions and learnings from business conferences and webinars. And now you can attend them all without having to pack your business casuals.

If you are quick you can still get tickets for Startup Summit which is live from 28th – 29th October but don’t worry if you’ve missed a day, or can’t fit in the sessions, as the content is available until 4th November. The Small Firms Association have a webinar with Ed Sibley, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland on 4th November where he’ll be talking about the importance of SME access to finance, engaging with the banks in relation to distressed debt and if the system wide support for small business borrowers is sufficient. They are also recapping on GDPR this month. Can you believe it’s been two years already? On November 12th, Deputy Commissioner Graham Doyle and Elaine Edwards, Special Investigations Unit of the Data Protection Commission, will host a webinar to recap on the General Data Protection Regulation 24 months on. November is Craft, Gifts & Retail Month at Guaranteed Irish and they have recently launched their www.guaranteedirishgifts.ie portal to encourage everyone to buy Irish this year.

They will be holding a Technology Forum Webinar on Tuesday 3rd November and an event on Leveraging PR for your Craft & Design Business Through Guaranteed Irish – keep an eye on their calendar for more details here

The Guaranteed Irish Annual Pharmaceutical Forum is on the 5th of November where you can listen to pharmaceutical industry leaders discussing how the sector has evolved in the last twelve months and the challenges facing the industry in the future. You can register for this event here

Dogpatch Labs - First Fridays For Start-ups are holding their monthly start-up event on November 6th and it’s looking like a good one. Check out the event details here 

Enterprise Ireland have a plethora of events lined up for November starting with Amazon Academy on 6th November where you’ll learn how to grow online sales revenue, enhance productivity and develop digital skills. Get your tickets here 

On 11th November they are holding a discussion on Brexit and Intellectual Property where IP experts from law firm MacLachlan & Donaldson will discuss the impact of Brexit on innovative Irish businesses from an IP perspective.

If you are looking to feel empowered this month then Pendulum Summit is the place to be (virtually). This year the Web Summit is going virtual at the beginning of December and if ever there was a time to attend this event (usually hosted in Lisbon) then this is the time. While the event is a who’s who of the global tech community anyone in business will get so many take aways from this star studded, informative and inspiring event – attend for the marketing tips alone.
