From healthcare workers applauding people staying at home, to a priest going the extra mile to remind children about special Easter ceremonies, here are five positive things to put a smile on your face.

1) Staff at the Mater Hospital in Dublin gathered for two minutes to applaud the public for staying at home and helping to slow the spread of Covid-19.

2) In Co Galway, Karena Ryan is creating hand-stitched portraits of frontline workers. Local nurses donated their uniforms so Karena could make the portraits. The finished pieces will be displayed in her local pharmacy in Tuam.

3) Staying on the frontline, carers at the TLC Centre in Maynooth, Co Kildare, cheered up their residents with an amazing TikTok dance routine.

4) From Kildare back to Galway, Gráinne Mhaols LGFA continue to train while keeping their social distance.
