Fans of the Western drama series Yellowstone and its Dutton clan have been told they will have another prequel to look forward to soon.
Streaming service Paramount+ has said that in addition to the currently airing 1883, which premiered in the US in December, and the previously announced Texas ranch-based 6666, it has ordered a new spin-off, 1932.

1932 will "follow a new generation of Duttons during the time of Western expansion, Prohibition and the Great Depression".
Paramount+ has also ordered more episodes of 1883, which follows Dutton forebears (played by Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Isabel May) as they travel West towards Montana with other settlers.
The Kevin Costner-starring Yellowstone has become a ratings phenomenon in the US.
Its creator, Taylor Sheridan, wrote the thriller Sicario and the Western Hell or High Water. He also wrote and directed the murder-mystery Wind River.
Entertainment trade publication the Hollywood Reporter says that Sheridan has more series in the pipeline including the Billy Bob Thornton-starring oil rig drama Land Man and the Sylvester Stallone-starring mafia drama Tulsa King.
The current series of Yellowstone is available on the RTÉ Player.
