Paul Costelloe talks about his famous London clients and his impressions of Irish style.
Dublin-born Paul Costelloe studied fashion design in Paris and worked in Italy. He is now based in London, where his clients have included Cherie Blair and Princess Diana. In this interview from 'Tubridy Tonight', he says that Cherie Blair isn't an easy lady to dress, but Princess Diana was "a perfect size 10".
Ryan Tubridy asks him about comments he made in the 1990s about Irish women having difficulty with style, comments Paul says were made casually but were jumped upon. Paul thinks that Irish men are "the most charismatic male species in Europe".
In recent years, Paul Costelloe has designed menswear and interiors for Dunnes Stores and women's wear for Arnotts in Dublin.
