President Kennedy's helicopter lands in O'Kennedy Park in New Ross.
Terry O’Sullivan reports from O’Kennedy Park in New Ross Co. Wexford, where President Kennedy’s helicopter has just landed. Some children are lying on the ground in the shape of the word ‘fáilte’ and others, "are waving flags like mad."
President Kennedy goes out into the field to shake hands with those waiting to meet him and says a word to the children, who are models of behaviour. The Artane Boys’ Band begins to play.
