The Minister for Industry and Commerce, Desmond O’Malley, has announced that Córas Tráchtála (CTT) and the Irish Goods Council (IGC) are to be amalgamated and that the level of grant aid to industry is to be reduced over the next three years. He was speaking at the publication of the review of industrial performance by the Department of Industry and Commerce.
