An Taoiseach, Charles Haughey, and the President-elect, Mary Robinson met in Paris to discuss what a government spokesman described as different aspects of the presidency.

Report shows interview with Mary Robinson on her return to Dublin from Paris. She says there are a number of issues in regards to the relationship between the president and government, and that she is anxious to meet Cardinal-Elect, Dr Cahal Daly, and visit Northern Ireland as president.
