The Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) Leader, John Hume, has attacked the Unionist parties' demand that there must be progress in internal Northern Ireland talks before the Irish government can be involved. Hume was speaking at the end of the SDLP conference in Derry.
Report shows interview with John Hume who says talks should be under way within weeks and that he doesn't understand any political party that is not willing to talk to any other political party.
