Presidential candidate, Brian Lenihan, still denies that he tried to contact the President in January 1982 in spite of the release this afternoon of a taped interview with political science student, Jim Duffy, in which he confirms that he, Charles Haughey and Sylvester Barrett did make telephone calls to the President.
