The British National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is to sue its president, Arthur Scargill, to recover money donated to miners during the 1984-5 pit strike. In the High Court in Dublin this evening, an injunction was granted preventing Arthur Scargill from disposing of £1.5 million in a bank account in the Irish Intercontinental Bank in Dublin.
