A report out today claims the number of homeless people is increasing rapidly and will continue to do so if current housing policy is not changed. Focus Point, the organisation for the homeless, says those without homes are now younger and often women with children.
Report shows Focus Point Resource Centre in Dublin.

Interview with Sister Stanislaus Kennedy, Director, Focus Point, who says the homeless used to consist of middle-aged men, but now they are mostly young women with children. She says the report indicates that the day of the hostel and shelter is gone and these people have a right to a new home.
