IRA Bomb Attacks

The Irish Republican Army (IRA) has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack near Rathfriland, County Down, in which three members of the British Army Parachute Regiment were killed, and the bomb attack at Colchester in England in which a staff sergeant and his wife were badly injured.

Remembrance ceremony at the Cenotaph in Belfast to commemorate the 215 people who have died in Northern Ireland since the Anglo-Irish Agreement was signed in 1985.
