The Minister for Defence, Michael Noonan, has announced a reorganisation of the officer corps in the An Fórsa Cosanta Áitiúil (FCÁ). Details of the restructuring, which Noonan said would offer better promotional prospects, were announced at the opening of a new FCÁ headquarters in Skibbereen, County Cork.
