The organiser of the Pro-Life Referendum Campaign, Senator Desmond ‘Des’ Hanafin, received a Papal knighthood at Blackrock College today. The award was conferred by the Papal Nuncio, Doctor Gaetano Alibrandi in his last public function before retiring.
