The Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) are at the scene in Crocus Street, Belfast where an Irish Republican Army (IRA) member died planting bomb near Springfield Road police station.

There is an RUC checkpoint near Killeen where Lord Justice Maurice Gibson and his wife Cecily were killed on 27 April 1987.

Interview with Detective Superintendent Maurice Neilly says the response from the public has been good and several lines of enquiry are being followed.
